This policy explains what information we collect through this site, how we use it, where it is stored, and how you can request access or deletion.

This Privacy Policy describes how Margen Software Inc. (“Margen”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) handles information collected through margensoftware.com, including the Attack-Data API and account portal. Terms for paid evaluations and other custom engagements are governed by a separate written contract.
Information we collect
We collect only the information you choose to give us through this site:
- Contact form. When you submit the contact form, we collect your name, work email address, company, the interest or engagement type you select, and the message you write.
- Newsletter. If you subscribe to updates, we collect your email address.
- Model and access requests. When you ask us to add or evaluate a model, suggest a generator, or request access, we collect your email address and the details you provide (model name, link, and any notes).
- Account. To use the Attack-Data API you create an account with your email address, and we store the API keys you generate (hashed, never in plain text).
- API usage. To meter credits, bill accurately, and prevent abuse, we log which items your keys pull and when.
- Payments. When you buy credits, payment is processed by Stripe. We receive limited billing details (the amount, your card brand and last four digits, and a Stripe customer and charge id), never your full card number.
We do not ask for sensitive personal information through this site, and we ask that you not include it in your message.
How we use this information
We use the information you submit to respond to your inquiry, evaluate engagement fit, send updates you requested, and maintain records of our correspondence. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Where your information is stored
Submissions are stored in our database hosted on Supabase, our data infrastructure provider. Access is limited to Margen personnel who need it to respond to your request.
Email processing
We use Resend to deliver transactional email, such as the notification we receive when you contact us and any reply or update we send to you. Your email address and message content pass through Resend for the purpose of delivery.
Payment processing
Credit purchases are handled by Stripe, our payment processor. Stripe collects and processes your card details directly under its own privacy policy; we do not receive or store full card numbers. We retain only the limited billing metadata above to show your spend, issue receipts, and support the account.
Analytics
We may use privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics to understand aggregate site usage, such as which pages are viewed. This form of analytics does not set tracking cookies and does not build individual profiles across sites.
Retention
We retain contact submissions and correspondence for as long as needed to handle your inquiry and to keep reasonable business records. We retain newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.
Access and deletion requests
To request access to, correction of, or deletion of the information we hold about you, email us at info@margensoftware.com. We will respond within a reasonable period.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above.
